Biophilic concepts have made their way into all forms of popular design concepts. It is the architect or designer’s perspective to direct how biophilic elements are applied to a space. The research shows that biophilic design has many positive outcomes, primarily it makes us happier and that is a fact. Biophilia’s main purpose is to reconnect us with nature, providing all kinds of benefits for our well-being, notably mental and behavioral stability, as well as physical. Studies have shown that biophilic design improves human well-being and boosts creativity and productivity.

For our economy and society, we see overall that businesses’ attention to biophilia and sustainability has become a source of social progress, businesses are applying considerable attention backed by resources to reduce their environmental footprints which benefits their bottom line, the environment and broadens society.
We view it as a work in progress for a sustainable future but the good thing is the world is anxious to do better at giving future generations a fighting chance, the most important factor here is that as a society we have started and that’s one step closer to finishing.
